Description

Who knew I’d need a degree in botany to write about antique purses? After much comparison, I believe this frame is supposed to represent a Sycamore tree and its unique seed balls. The design has a very Arts and Crafts feel with just enough color added to it to really set it off. This purse was had a wonderful pigskin leather bag added at a later date by Revivals, a company that recycled antique purse frames to create new purses. Here’s another Revivals purse with the same leather bag.

Size: 6 inches wide, 3.5 inches tall (frame); 7 inches wide, 10.5 inches tall (whole purse).
Value: 5 out of 10, with 10 being the most expensive.
